Margaret "Peggy" Volmar of Dawsonville, Ga., a former Somers tax receiver, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, at her residence after a period of declining health. She was 87. Born Feb. 23, 1927, in New York to the late John and Katherine Dooley, she had lived in Georgia since 2000.
