Track and field standouts from throughout the area are on display at Somers High School, which is hosting the 40th annual Joe Wynne Somers Lions Club Track & Field Invitational Friday and Saturday at the school's Roy Arnesen Track. Forty-eight boys and girls teams were set to compete in the two-day event, the biggest overall sports event of the year for Somers.
