A damaging band of thunderstorms that passed through Northern Westchester and Putnam late Tuesday afternoon have resulted in several reports of downed trees. Route 202 in Somers is closed in both directions at Croton Falls Road following a downed tree reported at 4:30 p.m. Downed trees have also been reported on Route 35 along the border of Lewisboro and Ridgefield, Conn., and Route 202 in Yorktown Heights.
