Wintry Mix Arrives In Somers As Season's First Snowflakes Fall

Much of the Hudson Valley, especially points north of I-287, is seeing the first snowflakes of the season as a cold front arriving in the area Thursday morning, bringing a mixed bag of precipitation that will become all rain in the early afternoon. The light mixture of snow and sleet began around sunrise in Orange and Rockland counties before moving east to northern Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess.
