Last year's Somers High field hockey team ended its season the same way a lot of teams have in the past: the Tuskers had to face seven-time state champion Lakeland in the playoffs. Second-year coach Jaime Pryschlak saw her team close last fall at 6-9-3, and she believes her team is ready to take a step forward this season.
