Heat Advisory Issued For Somers

Increased humidity, coupled with projected temperatures in the low 90s, has resulted in the National Weather Service issuing a Heat Advisory for Westchester, Putnam and Rockland counties from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday. A heat advisory is issued when the combination of heat and humidity is expected it to make it feel like it is 100 to 104 degrees for consecutive hours.
