If you find yourself wondering whether you are empowering your children to become self-confident, happy, capable young adults, you may want to attend a free parenting class Thursday, Oct. 8, at Somers Public Library. From 6-7:30 p.m., Theresa Wienecke, will conduct the class geared for parents of children 1-18 in the Program Room at the library, Route 139 and Reis Park.
