The Rotary Club of Northeast Westchester in Somers has donated $1,800 to ShelterBox, a humanitarian relief charity assisting survivors of disasters and humanitarian crises around the globe. The Northeast Westchester chapter combines the former Katonah Rotary Club, chartered in 1929, and the 2002-chartered Somers Rotary Club to serve Katonah, "The members of more than 33,000 Rotary Clubs around the world place value in service above self," said Rotary Club of Northeast Westchester President Stan Herz Pearlman in a statement.
