Blaze Breaks Out Next To Bedford Hills Fire House

Bedford Hills firefighters were met by a blaze right next to their firehouse on Bedford Road when getting ready to respond to a house fire in Somers. The fire was uncovered about 2:34 a.m., Tuesday, when firefighters were arriving at the firehouse and a woman approached them with a child who was in need of medical treatment from the fire next door, said Bedford Hills Fire Chief Joseph Lombardo.
