Somers High Field Hockey Team Setting Goals High For 2016 Season

Last year's Somers High field hockey team ended its season the same way a lot of teams have in the past: the Tuskers had to face seven-time state champion Lakeland in the playoffs. Yorktown Drowning Victim Recovered, IDed

Darrin Dyckoff, a 28-year-old Somers resident and Yorktown High School graduate, was found by divers Tuesday afternoon, according to News 12. Dyckoff was on a small floating device in the lake when he shouted for help before plunging under the water in the lake. Rescue operations continued for hours following his cry for help, which occurred around 2 p.m. According to his Linkedin page, Dyckoff worked at the Dunkin Donuts in Shop Rite in Cortlandt Manor.
