Police Investigating Thefts From Parked Cars In Northern Westchester

Putnam County Sheriffs, along with detectives from Yorktown and the State Police, are investigating a series of thefts from parked vehicles in Putnam Valley, Yorktown and Somers, according to officials. Putnam Sheriffs reponded to a call of suspicious activity on Cindy Lane on Nov. 25 which turned up GPS systems, credit cards, cellular telephones, laptop computers and other items which authorities believe were stolen, police said.
