74 Tickets Dished Out In I-684 Distracted Driving Detail In Northern Westchester

Dozens of tickets were doled out by New York State Police troopers during a special distracted driving enforcement operation in Westchester County along the I-684 corridor. During the detail, which was "conducted in furtherance of mission to ensure highway safety for all users of the roadway," on Friday, Oct. 16 in Somers, troopers issued a total of 74 tickets for speeding, distracted driving and other vehicle and traffic violations on the interstate.
